KIM KIM GALLERY
at Market Gallery, Glasgow, Scotland, 2008

Above some images of the first show of the Kim Kim Gallery, which was founded by us at the occasion. The name refers to the the Mary Mary Gallery in Glasgow. This here rather conceptual Gallery had a parasitarian show inside the Market Gallery spaces in Glasgow.

The shown installation is of tautological nature and represents the letter K, I, and M, build out of wood in a style which makes allusion to empty American billboards.

The sculptures are draped with punched wallpaper depicting a dionysian whine harvest scene.

The tapestry points to punch cards, an early form of data storage used in computation, again referring to the enigma-colossus encoding and decoding and the concept of flow we are dealing with.
